Ya era hora de que la formación universitaria soltara lastre y se adaptara a las nuevas circunstancias; borrón y cuenta nueva. Sin embargo, no deberíamos estar tan satisfechos.
La razón de ser de esta emblemática institución no es solo adaptarse a los vientos que soplan en cada época y acomodarse a las características del estudiante que se le presenta en cada momento. Hay otras cuestiones importantísimas e imperecederas que hoy no se consideran como merecen, y eso está provocando que la formación universitaria se desvirtúe o, en el mejor de los casos, quede a medio hacer. No va bien la cosa si hay estudiantes que piensan que la universidad es un lugar de paso, si no esperan de ella nada más que un título académico que sea rentable.
